Frequently asked questions

Is the qualification official?

Yes. On completion you obtain the Higher Technician in Clinical Electromedicine qualification (Royal Decree 838/2015), an official Vocational Training qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education and valid throughout Spain. It also grants access to university and recognition of 120 ECTS credits.

Are the placements guaranteed?

Yes. The degree is taught in the Dual VET model, with 100% guaranteed placements in hospitals and sector companies from the first year. You learn with real medical equipment and join electromedicine services, which boosts your employability on completion.

What requirements do I need to enrol?

You need to meet the entry requirements for a Higher VET programme: hold the Baccalaureate, a Technician qualification (Intermediate or Higher), have passed an entrance exam or an equivalent qualification. In the information interview we review your case and confirm your entry route and the documentation needed.

When does it start and how does admission work?

The next intake begins in September 2026. Admission is by order of confirmed enrolment, provided the entry requirements are met, and places are limited, so we recommend reserving your place in advance.

What is the timetable and duration?

The training is 100% on-site, in the morning from 08:30 to 14:30, which makes it easier to combine with company placements. It is 2 academic years, with a total of 2,000 hours and 120 ECTS credits.

How much does it cost and what payment options are there?

The place reservation is €450 and the monthly fee is €420 for 10 months per year (the same structure applies to each of the two years). You can choose a single annual payment or instalments, by card, Bizum or transfer. As official education, you can also apply for the public grants from the Ministry of Education and the Community of Madrid.

What career opportunities does it have?

You'll be able to work as an electromedicine technician in public and private hospitals, in the maintenance and installation of medical equipment, in technical support and after-sales, in quality control and technological safety, or coordinating electromedicine services. It is one of the sectors with the highest demand for qualified technicians in Spain.

Can I keep studying after the degree?

Yes. As an official Higher Degree qualification, it grants direct access to university Bachelor's studies (with recognition of up to 120 ECTS credits) and to other Higher Vocational programmes.
